Migos Rapper, Quavo, Welcomes His First Child

Quavo is stepping into a new chapter of his life as a father, just days before the release of his highly anticipated solo album, Qrömelife.
The Migos rapper opened up about becoming a dad for the first time during an interview with Noah Callahan-Bever on Complex’s Idea Generation podcast, describing the experience as a blessing that has completely shifted his perspective.
“It’s a blessing that God gave me,” Quavo said. He explained that fatherhood has brought him a new sense of joy, purpose and motivation, giving him another reason to keep pushing forward with his music and life.
For Quavo, it’s the little moments that have made the biggest impact so far — from seeing his daughter smile to hearing her call him “Dad.” He also spoke about how special it has been watching his family embrace his daughter with the same love he has for her.
“To see my family love her just like me, it’s just beautiful,” he said.
The rapper is also preparing to release a short film alongside Qrömelife this Friday, October 2. The project touches on the loss of his nephew and fellow Migos member Takeoff, while also featuring Pharrell Williams, who serves as executive producer.
The film also gives fans a glimpse into Quavo’s newest and most personal role yet — being a father to his newborn daughter.
