Don Jazzy Partners TS Academy To Empower Young Nigerians In Tech

Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, is giving young Nigerians an opportunity to acquire valuable digital skills through his 2027 Tech Scholarship Programme, in partnership with TS Academy.

And there’s more to it than just tuition support!

The scholarship offers successful applicants up to 100% tuition coverage worth ₦447,000, depending on the category awarded. Recipients may also enjoy additional support, including laptops and internet data, to make their learning journey smoother.

Announcing the initiative in a video, Don Jazzy encouraged young Nigerians to take digital skills seriously and position themselves for the growing opportunities in the technology industry.

There’s a wide range of courses to choose from, including Artificial Intelligence and Automation, Data Analytics, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Software Development, Frontend and Backend Development, DevOps Engineering, Digital Marketing, Product Design, Graphic Design, Virtual Assistance, Project Management and Content Creation.

And here’s the interesting part: you don’t necessarily need to be a tech expert before applying. According to TS Academy’s official website, most of the courses are beginner-friendly, making the opportunity accessible even to those just starting their tech journey.

But the benefits don’t stop at learning. Participants will also have access to practical training, mentorship, accredited certification, as well as internship and job placement support to help them take their newly acquired skills into the workplace.

Interested Nigerians can visit the official scholarship portal at https://donjazzy.tsacademyonline.com to explore the available courses and submit their applications.

However, there’s a catch worth noting: applicants can select only ONE course under the scholarship. The academy says course selections can be changed before the new cohort begins on February 28, 2027.

Also, while the scholarship can cover up to 100% of tuition, the programme is not completely free. Successful applicants will still be required to pay an application fee, although a discount will be provided.

Don Jazzy’s message is simple: don’t sit around waiting for opportunities; equip yourself with the skills to take advantage of them.

With technology becoming an increasingly important part of Nigeria’s economy, this could be an opportunity worth exploring. Your next career move might just begin with one application!
