Post Takeoff’s Death, Quavo Reveals New Migos Incoming Updates

The Migos story may not be over just yet.

Following the heartbreaking death of Takeoff, Quavo and Offset were left dealing with the loss of their longtime friend, collaborator and family member. At the time, the two rappers were also estranged and had been going through their own personal differences. But Takeoff’s death changed everything, bringing Quavo and Offset back into each other’s orbit.

Since then, both artists have largely concentrated on their solo careers. Offset has released several major projects, while Quavo has continued building his own catalogue with solo releases, collaborations and a string of high-profile singles.

Now, however, it appears the two may be preparing to revisit the group that made them household names.

Quavo is currently gearing up for a new album, with legendary producer Pharrell Williams reportedly involved in the project. But during an appearance on DJ Greg Street’s V-103 show in Atlanta, Quavo hinted that something much bigger could be happening behind the scenes.

According to Quavo, Migos could be making a comeback.

“We’re gonna do it one more time… We’re gonna do it right, we’re gonna tour,” he said, suggesting that he and Offset are considering one final run as Migos.

The announcement would undoubtedly be an emotional one for longtime fans. Migos became one of the most influential rap groups of their generation, helping define the sound of modern trap with hits such as “Bad and Boujee,” “T-Shirt” and “Walk It Talk It.”

Of course, bringing Migos back without Takeoff would come with an obvious challenge. Takeoff was an essential part of the group’s chemistry and sound, and his absence would be impossible to ignore.

There is, however, speculation that previously recorded Takeoff verses could potentially appear on a future project. If the duo does move forward with a new Migos album, unreleased material from Takeoff could give the project a way to preserve his presence while allowing Quavo and Offset to continue the group’s story.

Fueling the comeback talk even further, Quavo and Offset have previously been spotted together in the studio, suggesting that their reunion may be more than just talk.

For fans, the possibility of another Migos album and tour is enough to bring back plenty of nostalgia. The group’s Culture series remains particularly beloved, and another chapter could give listeners a chance to reconnect with the sound and energy that made Migos such a dominant force in hip-hop.

But this time, the stakes would be much higher.

If Quavo and Offset really are preparing to bring Migos back for one final run, the biggest question may not be whether they can recreate the old magic. It will be whether they can create something new while making sure Takeoff’s legacy remains at the heart of it all.
