Update On Diddy’s Ex Cassie’s $35 Million ‘Freak-Off’ Lawsuit Filed by Former Escort

Cassie Ventura is officially out of one courtroom battle—but Diddy’s legal troubles aren’t over yet!

U.S. District Judge Anne Hwang has dismissed Cassie from a $35 million lawsuit filed by former male escort Clayton Howard, who alleged that he participated in so-called “freak-off” sessions involving Cassie and her ex, Sean “Diddy” Combs.

According to court documents obtained by Complex, the ruling was granted during an October 21 hearing in Los Angeles, marking a significant legal win for Cassie.

Her attorneys argued that Howard failed to establish a viable sex-trafficking claim against her involving force, fraud, or coercion. They also pointed to his allegations of receiving payments and returning for subsequent encounters, arguing that the complaint did not adequately support his claims.

Her legal team maintained that the flaws could not be fixed by rewriting the lawsuit. The judge ultimately dismissed the claims against Cassie with prejudice, meaning Howard cannot refile those same claims against her.

Howard filed the lawsuit in June, naming Cassie, Diddy, Bad Boy Entertainment LLC, and CeOpco LLC. He alleged that paid encounters took place in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles, with drugs and coercion involved. He also made a separate allegation concerning an abortion. These remain allegations, not established facts.

The court also gave Bad Boy Entertainment and CeOpco a partial win, allowing Howard 14 days to amend his claims against them. Meanwhile, Diddy was ordered to respond to the lawsuit by November 4 and has denied wrongdoing.

The civil case comes amid Diddy’s separate criminal proceedings, in which he received a 50-month prison sentence.

For Cassie, the dismissal marks a major victory in this particular case. But with claims against other defendants still alive, the legal saga surrounding Diddy continues.
