Diddy’s Prison Sentence Shortened

If there’s one thing that has been unpredictable about Diddy’s prison sentence, it’s his release date! Over the past few months, the date has been shifted several times, with some changes bringing his freedom closer and others pushing it further away.
When the music mogul was initially sentenced to 50 months behind bars, his expected release date was set for late April 2028. However, things seemed to be looking up a few months ago when that date was moved forward to late January 2028.
Unfortunately, just when an earlier release seemed within reach, controversy struck. Following a contraband scandal and an alleged altercation, Diddy’s release date was pushed back to March 2, 2028.
But there’s been another twist in the story!
Diddy was recently transferred to FCI Allenwood, a low-security federal prison with significantly fewer inmates. The move sparked speculation that the new environment could work in his favour, potentially reducing the chances of further disciplinary issues and improving his prospects of an earlier release.
And according to TMZ, those hopes may already be paying off. On Monday, reports revealed that Diddy’s release date had once again been moved forward — this time by three weeks!
That means the Bad Boy Records founder is now reportedly scheduled to walk free on February 6, 2028.
Of course, the big question is: Will this date finally stick?
Considering how frequently Diddy’s release date has changed, it’s probably too early to celebrate. There could still be more opportunities for the date to move forward, but any further changes will depend on his conduct and the applicable prison rules.
For now, February 6, 2028, is the date to watch. That’s roughly 15 months away, and if the past few months have taught us anything, it’s that Diddy’s prison countdown is far from predictable!
